La tesi doctoral es va dur a terme al grup de <em>Protein Folding and Conformational Diseases <\/em>de l\u2019IBB, liderat pel Dr. Salvador Ventura, qui en va ser el director de tesi juntament amb el Dr. Francesc Xavier Avil\u00e9s. En aquest treball cient\u00edfic es van estudiar les implicacions fisiol\u00f2giques i patol\u00f2giques del plegament i agregaci\u00f3 proteica. Es van estudiar i identificar nous candidats farmacol\u00f2gics pel tractament del Parkinson i se\u2019n va avaluar les seves propietats anti-amiloides i neuroprotectores, aix\u00ed com tamb\u00e9 el seu potencial farmacol\u00f2gic.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aquest premi, dotat amb 800\u20ac, s\u2019entrega en reconeixement als treballs d\u2019iniciaci\u00f3 a la carrera investigadora que destaquen per la seva qualitat cient\u00edfica. L\u2019acte de lliurament d\u2019aquesta convocat\u00f2ria 2020-2021 ser\u00e0 el proper dimarts 30 de novembre al CIB \u201cMargarita Salas\u201d-CSIC, a Madrid.
