The\u00a0conference\u00a0program\u00a0will\u00a0explore\u00a0the\u00a0fundamental\u00a0aspects\u00a0ofphase\u00a0separation\u00a0in normal\u00a0biological\u00a0functions\u00a0and\u00a0in\u00a0diseases<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0(e.g.\u00a0neurodegenerative\u00a0disorders).\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0conference\u00a0will\u00a0bring\u00a0together\u00a0members\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0PhasAGE\u00a0consortium\u00a0and\u00a0external\u00a0speakers\u00a0showcasing\u00a0high\u00a0impact\u00a0achievements\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0field\u00a0of\u00a0phase\u00a0transitions\u00a0in\u00a0aging\u00a0and\u00a0late-onset\u00a0diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0scientific\u00a0programme\u00a0includes\u00a0a\u00a0scientific\u00a0symposium\u00a0organized\u00a0by\u00a0the\u00a0group\u00a0of\u00a0early\u00a0stage\u00a0researchers. Young\u00a0researchers\u00a0and\u00a0junior\u00a0postdocs\u00a0will\u00a0have\u00a0access\u00a0to a\u00a0workshop\u00a0in\u00a0alternative\u00a0careers\u00a0in\u00a0science.\u00a0 A\u00a0workshop\u00a0dedicated\u00a0to\u00a0biotech\u00a0stakeholders\u00a0will\u00a0be\u00a0organized\u00a0to\u00a0increase\u00a0awareness\u00a0about\u00a0potential\u00a0therapeutic\u00a0strategies\u00a0in\u00a0the\u00a0field\u00a0of\u00a0phase\u00a0transitions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Salvador Ventura<\/strong>, IBB researcher partner of the PhasAGE consortium will speak in Session II which is about the proteostasis network in aging and disease. Full programme will be available soon. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
